We've received tons of compliments on our flavored lip balm. It's made with Beeswax, Olive Oil, Shea Butter, Vitamin E for healing chapped lips, and flavor or essential oils. It comes in an attractive black tube or silver tin and the flavors we currently have in stock are: Anise, Bubblegum, Caramel, Cherry, Cherry/Vanilla, Cinnamon ,Cinnamon/Vanilla, Coconut, Cotton Candy, Grape, Lavender/Lemongrass, Maple, Peach, Pear, Peppermint, Pink Lemonade, Pina Colada, Raspberry, Sangria, Spearmint, Strawberry, Tangerine, Vanilla, Vanilla-Almond,and Watermelon. (We are constantly adding new ones.) We also make unflavored lip balm for those customers that request it.
We found (or rather some friends of ours found) a very unusual use for the Anise flavored lip balm. It seems bass fisherman use Anise oil as a method of luring the fish to the bait ,so they rubbed some Anise lip balm on their lures and couldn't believe the way the fish would go after it!
I fish for trout with wet and dry flies so I can't confirm this as fact but I do know they keep wanting more of the lip balm to take with them. I decided to try it to float my dry flies instead of commercial fly floatant and it works just as well. So, one more use for the lip balm.
The selling price on the lip balm (tube or tin) is $2.50. I recommend the tin if you're going to use it for fishing.
